The splendid nature reserve of Castell – Cap Roig extends itself over the municipalities of Palamós, Mont-ras and Palafrugell, from the beach of Castell till Calella, passing by Cala Estreta and a lot of other amazing coves. It’s one of the last unharmed pieces of nature of the Costa Brava.
If you love the nature, the countryside, walking or cycling, you’ll find the GR-92 route and the Via Verda (Green Way) at the entrance of the camping. Camping Benelux is located amidst this nature reserve.
Castle of Cap Roig
The castle of Cap Roig is a medieval construction and is considered as protected cultural heritage of the municipality of Palafrugell (Baix Empordà).
Around the castle you can admire the beautiful botanical gardens where very often art exhibitions are organized during the summer.
Also during the summer months, some classical and pop concerts are organized by Cap Roig Festival.
