I can’t make an online booking even tough the systems mentions that there is still some availability.

Are there fixed arrival and departure days?
No, we have no fixed arrival and departure days, unless otherwise specified and as fitted into our schedule. In high season there is a minimum stay of 7 nights required. In the low season it is possible to rent a tent for a shorter period.
Can I still modify my reservation?
Yes. However an administrative cost of € 25,00 will be charged. The dates and number of participants may be changed based on availability. For changes that involve a partial cancellation (eg. shortening of the reserved period) the cancellation policy applies for that specific portion.
I made an online booking. Now what?
We will check the data and send you by post mail or e-mail a booking confirmation / invoice. On this confirmation, you can see what you booked, what the total cost is and how it should be paid.
I’d like to order a tent for more than 4 persons. Is this possible?
No. A tent can accommodate up to 4 people. But it is possible for a 5th person to book in addition 1 extra bed or for a child up to 2 years a baby cot. Optionally you can also add 1 sleeping tent for a 5th and / or 6th person. See the extra rental options.
Can I suggest a preferred spot on the camping?
Yes that is possible. We will do our utmost to take your request into account, but we cannot guarantee. The only preference that we can guarantee (subject to availability) is when booking accommodations in the same time.
Are the prices all included?
The rental rates are for 1 family of 4 people including demurrage, gas and electricity, but excluding tourist tax, cleaning and booking fees.
Which extra costs may I expect when booking?
The only costs are cleaning, booking fees and taxes. If you want to book extra options, these will also be charged.
Do I have to do a downpayment?
Yes, after receiving the booking confirmation an escrow must be made equal to 30% of the total amount with a minimum of € 100,00 and the reservation fee. The escrow must be paid at least 7 days after the date of the booking confirmation.
Which payment methods do you accept?
When booking online you can choose to pay via PayPal, credit card etc. or by bank transfer. After booking you will receive a final confirmation. You’ll be informed in this e-mail about all the necessary data (IBAN number and BIC code for making a reservation abroad, payment schedule…) to make your different payments.
Will I receive a confirmation of the reception of my payment?
Yes, you will receive a confirmation of receipt. If the entire payment is received, you will receive at least 1 week before your arrival date all your travel documents by email.
Do I have to settle something upon arrival?
The Spanish government introduced a tourist tax in 2013. This tourist tax has to be settled at on of the HolidayTent employees on the day of arrival. (€ 0.50 per night, max. 7 nights and for people over 16 years).
Do you have to pay a deposit?
Yes, you pay a security deposit of € 50,00 in cash at one of the HolidayTent employees. You’ll be refunded when your tent is clean (washing up is done, the garbage is gone, all food items are out of the refrigerator and the tent is swept clean) upon your departure.
When will we receive our travel documents?
Approximately 1 week before your arrival date you will receive an email with the travel documents including the voucher, detailed directions to the campsite and all the contact details of the campsite and HolidayTent. You can print these pages and take them with you to the campsite.
At what time is my tent available?
Basically, your tent will be available from 15:00 h. If you are traveling overnight and arriving in the morning, keep in mind that the property may not yet available.
At what time must we check out?
As we need to prepare property for the next guests, you need to leave the property before 10:00 h. The staff will agree with you on the exact moment of checkout.
Until what time is my accommodation guaranteed on the day of arrival?
The property remains guaranteed on the day of arrival until 20:00 h. If you have not arrived at that time, and without notice (by phone) to HolidayTent, the booking expires and the reservation fee won’t be rest reimbursed.
When is the calmer period?
In pre- and after season, the camping is quieter. It can happen that some facilities are not yet or no longer open, such as the pool, restaurant or shop.
When are the school holidays?
On the school holidays-page you can find an overview of the holiday periods.
Who cleans the tent?
HolidayTent takes care of the cleaning of the tent. You only need to ensure that the dishes is done, the garbage is gone, all food is removed from the refrigerator and that the tent is swept clean.
Can I bring my pets with me?
No, due to hygienic reasons pets are not allowed in the tents.
Are the accommodations non-smoking?
How many people are admitted in a tent?
DThe maximum occupancy per 1 tent is a family of 4. Extra people must be specified in advance at the moment of booking.
Must we bring our own linens and pillows?
The tent is equipped with just a bed with its mattress.
You need to bring your own:
- Bed sheets
- Sleeping bag or duvets and blankets
Can we rent linens at HolidayTent?
Yes, we rent linen packages for € 15,00 per person. Each pack contains, per booking: 1 mattress cover, 1 pillow, 1 duvet and 1 pillowcase.
Can we rent towels at HolidayTent?
Yes, we rent towel packages for € 8,00 per person. Each pack contains, per booking: 1 bath towel (140 x 70 cm) and 1 small towel (100 x 50 cm).
BBQ – We’d love to barbecue. Is that possible?
Yes, barbecuing is allowed in the camping. Guests of HolidayTent can borrow a BBQ. This BBQ has to be returned after its use. PAY ATTENTION!! The BBQ may NOT be placed (because of the fire risk) on the wooden deck / porch of the safari tent.
Is it allowed to put a small supplementary tent to sleep?
A small tent / sleeping tent is permitted and must be paid against camping fare. You must bring mount the tent yourself. By placing an additional tent, the number of participants that you informed while booking, may never be exceeded. The maximum size of the extra tent is approximately 2 x 2 meters.
Because of the different size of the pitches, you must indicate in advance while booking that you want to place an extra tent.
Can I park the car next to the tent?
It is allowed to park the car at the tent (if there’s enough space). If you travel with 2 cars, you’ll have to pay upon arrival for the second car. Your cars can also be parked in the parking area of the campsite. We are not liable for any damage to parked cars, both on and off site. You should be aware that it is not permitted to drive on the campsite between 23.00 h. and 07.00 h. At the campsite, a maximum speed of 10 km per hour is applicable.
Are there English-speaking associates on the camping?
Yes, there are English-speaking persons working on the camping.
Are there activities for the kids during the entire season?
The recreation program is not always English or Dutch spoken. It is usually only available in high season. During the low season it can happen that a number of facilities and activities aren’t offered on site.
Do I need to have a passport?
You are responsible to travel with the right and valid travel documents that are required for your destination. Children of all ages need their own travel document, no matter what country you are traveling to.
